06/12/2017 (addings and edits across early am) HIGH: Michael Rupport’s death = murder not suicide I was drawn to this material this morning looking for alternative views of the Michael Rupport suicide, because I sniffed “murder” on a psychic level (psychic feeling he was killed is high).  My intuition is he was under duress at the time of his death.  I have psychic images (flashes) coming up.  I also intuitvely sensed something fishy around his “friends.”  I also intuitively sensed he had been working on something that people might have wanted to either snuff out and/or up, including taking the money from the proceeds on. This includes a possible musical gig which might have had information in it.  I found to my surprise “Hattie” (a play on Patrick Henry; does he feel it is a past life? smiles.  His real name appears to be Tony) was suggesting the same things - and then some.  Hattie describes a Seattle short series he had just gotten a contract for.  We learned from some of the suicide material that friends were finishing up an album in process.    The website provides a worthwhile page on how the so-called suicide might have been a murder and is much more honoring of both Rupport and any human in that predicament: that is, should any of us be found dead from apparent suicide, we should be respected enough to have a thorough, meticulous investigation that probes the data methodically while asking the deeper questions.    Hattie goes into details about a how a more honest and real investigation would and should have played out over Michael Rupport’s death.  He asks the right questions and points out both the more glaring omissions as well as the more subtle ones.  I wil add two more things here about psychic impressions about Rupport.  It is possible I had run into his material before along the way, but did not consciously connect with it, so when I first came to some of it in the past couple of days, it felt like aat once a first seeing but also like both the material had been waiting for me - as if Michael knew me and had been waiting for me to show up and see th ematerial, almost like on some level we were aware of each other.  The connection to Crestone, Colorado was significant to me.  In addition, I had an image of him as an energy form which showed up as “angel” to me even though I sense - including today - his human flaws, some irregularities.  He was not perfect, like the rest of us.  I also have sensed he might have been being used by Russians from an early age, I picked up “Russian” about him almost right off the bat.  It could be related to his mother’s work on Soviet cryptology.  The fact his paretn was associated with the older Lockheed Martin was significant to me.  I read up on the mother-SOviet connection after picking up on the Russian thing - my sense of the Russian thing came first.  I feel he might have been hooked into by something Russian from a very early age, perhaps in retaliation of his mother’s work against the Soviets.  I even wondered if he was Russian, perhaps Russian Irish.  Later I fet he might have participated in some of the negative 1970s LAPD antics himself before coming out on CIA corruption.  Once again, I feel - despite the comments made above going either way - we need to keep a balanced, questioning attitude toward Michael Rupport, because some of what I am picking up about him is not so good, but I feel the material he was covering needs to be considered carefully, we need to identify the motives of his killers (I strongly feel he was murdered) and I feel on an energy level he might have a connection with a higher power.  I also feel some sexual dysfunction that goes back to early childhood in his energy field.  We need to remember his alcohol addiction problems.  Don’t write Ruppert off as zany or corrupt, but don’t over- halo him, either; because he was linked to core level important issues of our times, hear what he and those associated with him have to say, but stay focused on the midway looking for relevant facts, and don’t write off midstream media.  Be careful with religiously based millenialists -end of world types who directly or indirectly want to further the end of the world to prove their hell and damnation theories right.  If they don’t have a vested interest in nihilism, their views otherwise might be biased.  Nonetheless, I seem to find both truth and slant on such websites.  Back to Rupport (I don’t feel comfortable with the essence or validity of the last name) I feel he almost knew and expected who and what showed up to kill him, almost like a familiarity of breed.  The Guardian: Devil’s Breath aka scopolamine can it really zombify you (09/02/2015) One drug to have checked for forensically in Hattie’s article is scopaline, here is a brief overview and introductory critical analysis: Hatrick Penry: Lingering questions and red flags related to the alleged suicide of Michael C. Three men then got out of the vehicle with large knives and attacked people at bars and restaurants in nearby Borough Market until they were shot dead by police. “ (CBS News, 06/04/2017) lion-of-london-a7775246.html Evening Standard: The Heroes of the London Bridge Attack. By Rosamund Urwin (06/08/2017) I will add that I like the article found in Standard.   I feel it takes us into the world of the psychology of helpers of others during times of deep turmoil involving fear, danger, bodily injury and harried flight.   How certain people stand their ground and fight back, or go into the middle of the struggles to help rather than follow the crowds away from the area of panic and violence. I don’t know whether any of you have noticed it or not, but there has been a shift in timbre on this website in the past month or so.  It has to do with a more somber connection to the topics of terrorism and cartels, with more of an emphasis on the latter at this moment in time.  Part of it has to do with going over another crime case in New Mexico involving possible guilt and cover-ups of a police officer (see Melanie McCracken case) even though that does not deal with either directly per se Gary Webb comes up again See: Montel: Gary Webb and Michael Levine For some time over the past few days - for whatever reason - I have been sensing the need to go back over the Gary Web case, particularly his material on links between Mexico and broader Latin America and 9/11, including any involvement of Latino related Jews and Arabs. I will add that I seem to pick up a muddiness or squirreliness in Gary Webb’s aura, something I have mentioned before, to this very day.  Please understand that my intention is to believe and honor Gary Webb - not to condemn him.  I am not exactly sure what I am picking up, but it happens every time I look at certain of his photos.  He died in December 2004.  One thing I seem to be picking up is possible male to male sexual abuse of Webb - possibly from his military father in earlier years and also from intimidators or attackers in later years, as if he was being treated like a girl.  I do not know if he ever reported male rape, and I don’t know if investigators checked his body for any signs of rape and abuse that way around the time of his death (perhaps DNA from semen in the anus).  I am not necessarily picking up that kind of abuse around his death, but picking it up in general; an idea that comes up is that he had been intimidated along the way during his investigations and been made to keep his mouth shut on that later.  I also suspect he himself might have been doing some drugs, more than just marijuana, although newer strains of pot can be more addictive in and of themselves.  These concerns do not necessarily obviate or belittle his investigative reporting;  I think he was on to something.  I am not sure what exactly I am picking up, but it catches my attention and bothers me on some level every time I see his photos including video footage seen for the first time today.  I encourage those of you who are open-minded and wanting to look at Gary Webb with fresh eyes to connect with reputable psychics and trained remote viewers with a proven track record to look in on this.  added later 06/09/2017: There is a Youtube video showing a talk show interview with both Gary Webb and Michael Levine.  Today was my first look at this.  I had a very bad feeling come up around Michael Levine, a sense of almost evil in his aura.  Let me explain.  There is something that feels like a psychic odor.  I have read others discuss it.  Notice I use the word “feel” in discussing odor.  A sense of death, dead bodies, murder, decay.  The sense he is playing a game, trying to sell something.  Also something that comes up around Gary Webb is “Deal” - perhaps part of what is questionable is he was involved in deals.  I feel around the time of his death he really was cleaning up; I don’t sense large sums of money illicitly coming his way.  For some reason, there is something about his energy that I link with Jimmy Carter; I have felt Carter was also sexually abused.  I also pick up “syndicate” around a strain of newspaper syndicate which might have been connected to his death.  People who try to speak out against cartels and government coverups might be targeted in various ways which exploits weaknesses;  people can start acting strange which destroys their credibility in an earlier stage of their life.  I am thinking about Michael Ruppert right now.  I also saw the Michael Ruppert youtube video with him encountering the CIA director and government officials in LA for the first time.  A later video shows him looking deranged and talking about the end of the world.  The disenfranchisement that comes with discussing conspiracies can have a psychoclogical impact, but I believe additional attacks beneath the surface can cause further psychological and physiologial problems; most of us see the outer shell of the person falling apart in front of us - we don’t try to search for psychotronics or hidden visits by abusers to the home, or UFO style abductions to explain the changes.  Once people no longer seem normal or coherent, we tend to write them off as “gone” - even before they are officially dead.  So this is one desired outcome for undesirables, referring to someone as “suicided.”  It often includes lack of employment and reduced funds. Many people see Gary Webb as a victim and martyr - they look to his many writer’s awards and publications, the strong use of identifiable sources, his journalistic writing from a young age.  The wife mentioned his affairs as one reason for the break-up.  I feel both of them had a secret or secrets.  I don’t feel he committed suicide; I agree he was probably murdered.  I don’t trust some of the websites who seem to support him, however, as I feel something else is going on, even if they go into detail about how it was likely a murder.  I am not sure what is going on with at least two men on the web doing that - I’ve posted their links on the Webb page on this site.  Michael Levine has written books and seems to have been an expert witness.  It is possible he is who he says he is and that he has tried to speak out on CIA corruption.  All I can tell you is I pick up something in his aura which is worse than Gary Webb’s aura.  His energy field is one of the worse I have encountered.  I do feel someone came around Gary Webb’s house that day he died.  Perhaps it is someone who felt he had double-dealed.  Perhaps the abuse I am picking up around him is linked to Nicaragua. I feel there is a link to corruption in the Education hiring department in Hawaii - at least on Oahu, probably statewide.  Something is going on there that does not feel right.  Why would cartels be getting into education departments?  I also still feel strongly that Hawaii has serious prlblems with synidcate like corruption, includes the Hawaii-only banks.  Highly internatonal.  06/03/2017 In going over the McCracken case (New Mexico police abuses section) I have discovered another “hanging by suicide” issue related to the investigation - see Linda Daniels the other female murder case in New Mexico I went into more detail on earlier this year. One of the killers who knew something about the case ended up the same way.  In the McCracken case, it appears to be two EMTs unless the Amarillo article I found has the detail wrong.  I will say on a pyschic level I pick up something that does not feel right in the administration section or department of the medical facility where one or both of the EMTs worked.  We need to know more about Mark McCracken - his racial make-up, family history in the area of the death - I found one McCracken in 1917 in a case involving second degree murdeer - if it is of the same family line, perhaps there was violence in the lineage.  Valencia County is a high Hispanic area; Bosque Farms where the incident occurred is on a Reservation - I am not too familiar with that area but have driven through it - students would go to UNM or NM Tech in Socorro, or local community colleges  - something about colleges or universities comes up around this.  One of the EMT techs had a good vibe - he was not as much part of the local problems (family networks) - seemed more modern in his outlook - some of the network issues probably have historic ties. 06/01/2017 I have added Melanie McCracken/police husband Mark McCracken to Notes area - cold case deserves more attention.  The case involves Bosque Farms, possibly Los Lunas - both south of Albuquerque; Albuquerque, Santa Fe and possibly RIo Rancho - need to look into it more - go directly to the sources for more info 2017-13: McCracken case NM  2017-13 Please keep Pilots concerned about 9/11 website at top of mind awareness.  Please consider buying their informative materials to both support their endeavors and to learn more. 05/30/2017 added material later 05/30/2017 - material on Vietnam and Drugs, CIA and JFK - see below 05/30/2017 notes added later 05/30/2017 - added today Blue Lives Matter - a section in System Abuse/Police Abuses/Blue LIves Matter Government Agency Corruption: Illegal, Crude and Abusive Paramilitary Student Loan SWAT? “He [a federal agent] had his knee on my back and I had no idea why they were there.”—Kenneth Wright, victim of a Dept. of Education SWAT team raid  - Huffington Post see below Huffington Post: THE BLOG 06/15/2011 Aug 15, 2011 SWAT Team Mania: The War Against the American Citizen By John W. Whitehead Cato: Department of Education: Swat Raid Unpaid Student loans Reason: Dept. Educ. and Swat Team Up There are rumors that Dept. of Educ has a SWAT; the DOE seems to counter that contention.  I suspect something fishy is going on, no matter the name of the agency involved.  There are a few articles revealing paramilitary tactics surround student loan issues.  Some suggest the actual SWAT being used for this issue is by the FBI.  US Marshalls seem to get involved.  Texas has at least one bad track record; the above issue was in California.  My suggesing is that Gangstalking might be associated with Dept. of Education or related SWAT agences and mind control gaming style technology which is likely a systems-wide invasive program of spying and retaliation, probably linked to older and extant Soviet government controls.  The terrible truth is that loans behind student loans could be linked to both American and non-American lenders who have ties to 9/11, cartels and terrorism.  The lenders themselves might be a mixed bag of both legitimate and not legitimate operations, or entirely linked to malicious and illegal ops that are counter-productive to the United States.  The source of the loans might be people who put together 9/11 and drug and weapon sales to Mexican and Islamic terrorists.  This is the black pill many Americans are still unwilling to swallow.  The reason behind the malicious paramilitary tactics involving student loans are likely mixed, with some of them religious fundamentalist or non-religious conservatives who feel student loan debts are helping to kill America; the other types are likely hired hands for the distorted, corrupt and snagged cartel lenders.  Between the two, paramilitary tactics are indeed probably being aimed at many people with student loans.  The paramilitary tactics can actually keep the students from functioning properly in almost all areas of their life; I suspect an attack mentality that keeps the victim down, with the idea that disciplining using paramilitary tactics behind the scenes will make the person behave.  In other cases, it is likely retaliation.  Religious fundamenalists (including but not limited toChristian and Islamic ones) use discipline to get a person to line up according to their wishes; they hit, beat and use other forms of hands on punishment to encourage conformity and to punish.  I suspect it extends into paramilitary style raids and behind the scenes invisible retaliation.  Some of these groups might have additional agendas but are using the student loan platform to target certain groups in addition to or beyond any real or imagined student loan issues.  As with corrupt private contractors involved with the military, there are likely corrupt private finance companies and contractors associated with the Dept. of Educ.  Some have suggested the Dept. of Educ should be dismantled: We have had a battle in this country since at least Vietnam between exploitative big business and drug/human trafficking groups and the “normal citizenry”; it showed its ugly head during Vietnam when drugs were being sold and illegallly transported to the USA for secretive sales.  Numerous signs the government was lying to the people, putting soldiers in extremely dangerous situations.  Many died and were permanently injured both in Vietnam and in subsequent wars in the Middle East because of the divide between the rogue/normal government, either and both of which have had something to do with inefficiency, waste, poor planning and more.  Meanwhile, the illegal and secretive ops continued.  It is no wonder many Vietnam and later veterans had and have issues. Later, wars that never ended in the Middle East continued this bipolar mentality in the United States - a rogue, drug selling and human trafficking group on one side, the normal citizenry on the other.  Increased signs that members of the military of this group went dirty over time. I strongly believe that the terrorism we see in various parts of the world, including Mexico and Latin America, is linked to the American rogue group mentioend above - that we are in fact in a war with members of our own people, people with military expertise - including weapons and strategic ops.  Things don’t get done in Mexico because Americans are involved with the cartels. MEDIUM TO HIGH Psychic impression medium to high: A rogue group of Americans in the United States is linked to ISIS terrorism and Mexico drug cartels.  Money, guns.  I keep getting whiffs of this group.  Interpretation:  Until we coordinate against this group, we won’t get anything done and the problems will get worse.  Blaming it all on Mexico and Islam is not good enough. Some suggestions for proper governmental conduct 1. Do not use terrorism to fight terrorism - for example, torture.  Do not use torture to fight terrorism, in other words.  I am leaning toward using truth-speaking drugs as long as it is out in the open and disclosed to the public, and as long as its approval for any individual usage receives open-ended, publicized voting by a responsible and ethical group not involved in its undertaking.  Also an oversight committee not linked to the undertaking should have constant hands-on supervision with ongoing responsible and ethical checks into the situation.  I do not support waterboarding or any other form of physical abuse to extract information. 2.  Church and State Separation should be upheld in the United States. 3.  Terrorist activities like bombing of public areas and killing innocent people is not acceptable.  I think we are dealing with traitors in the USA and other countries - that funds are being supplied from these rogue sources to ISIS and other terrorist groups.  Until we openly deal with this issue, we won’t get far. 4. Trump should be removed from office, as well as Pence before they do more serious and possible unreconcilable damage to the United States; he is destroying our reputation and connections with allies in Europe and beyond, for one thing.  He is destroying church and state separation.  We cannot account for many things about Trump and his past or current finances/affiliations.  He comes across as incompetent (and is); he is probably being attacked by something behind the scenes to encourage that effect, and might have little or no protection by responsible parties.  He should never have become president in the first place. 5.  Do not use paramilitary tactics on the general citizenry; follow consitutional protocols.  The Bill of Rights needs to be updated to specifically cover modern forms of potential invasion of privacy and modern technology available for abusing the public and others. 6.  Being a supporter of no-torture and with goals of overall peace, this does not mean a responsible country needs to be a doormat.  People will walk over us if we do not protect ourselves and in those cases where there is no other choice, we should use decisive, well- planned, efficient and coordinated military measures. 6. Stop sending government related business to private firms.  Private contractors does not equal good government - it reduces open turf bidding, supports private interests, encourages secret sabotage.  The sabotage can include breaking it in order to get paid to fix it (ie weapons sales).   See Fast and Furious in System Abuse/Cartels - an older Phoenix area involving agents selling weapons to cartelsproblem with ongoing ramifications Part of the start of the Great Divide in the USA - taking the black pill Vietnam and drug sales: Vietnam, the CIA's Illegal Drug Trafficking, and JFK's Assassination: John Fitzgerald Kennedy dot Net:  Vietnam CIA Drugs Excerpt:  An Overview of Michael Collins Piper's "Final Judgment" by Victor Thorn NOTE: The information below is derived from Michael Collins Piper’s Final Judgment. My role is that of a reviewer, and all credit for the research must be given to Mr. Piper. I urge everyone to purchase a copy of this book. Final Judgment is published by The Center for Historical Review, 132 Third Street, SE, Washington, DC, 20003 (1-888-699-NEWS) Perhaps the biggest secret of the Vietnam War is that our Central Intelligence Agency seized control of the infamous Golden Triangle during that time period, then, along with assistance from various elements of Organized Crime, shipped huge amounts of heroin out of that area into our country. Because piles of money were being made from this practice and many others, those who stood to profit from this horrendous war – the armament manufacturers, bankers, military men, and drug dealers – met any suggestion to withdraw from Vietnam with immediate consternation. But that’s exactly what John F. Kennedy intended to do upon re-election. In fact, he had already planned on telling the American people that their troops would be back home by 1965. Think about this momentous decision for a moment. If we had exited Vietnam by 1965, EIGHT years of bloodshed in the jungles and civil unrest on America’s streets and campuses could have been alleviated. Michael Collins Piper writers in Final Judgment: “Kennedy’s intended change in Vietnam policy – his plan to unilaterally withdraw from the imbroglio – infuriated not only the CIA but elements in the Pentagon and their allies in the military-industrial-complex. By this time, of course, the Lansky Syndicate had already set-up international heroin running from Southeast Asia through the CIA-linked Corsican Mafia in the Mediterranean. The joint Lansky-CIA operations in the international drug racket were a lucrative venture that thrived as a consequence of deep U.S. involvement in Southeast Asia as a cover for drug smuggling activities.” Piper’s simple one-paragraph explanation may be the most concise overview of the Vietnam War ever written. The military men and defense contractors were making out like bandits from the War Machine, while the CIA crooks and Lansky-led Mobsters (via Santo Traficante as the major wheeler-dealer) were likewise padding their pockets. Author Peter Dale Scott, in Deep Politics and the Death of JFK, said of this phenomenon, “The flood of drugs into this country since WWII was one of the major ‘unspeakable’ secrets leading to the ongoing cover-up of the Kennedy assassination.” To provide a broader perspective on this situation, Professor Alfred McCoy stated in The Politics of Heroin, “Since the prohibition of narcotics in 1920, alliances between drug brokers and intelligence agencies have protected the global narcotics traffic. Given the frequency of such alliances, there seems a natural attraction between intelligence agencies and criminal syndicates. Both are practitioners of what one retired CIA operative has called the ‘clandestine arts’ – the basic skill of operating outside the normal channels of civil society. Among all the institutions of modern society, intelligence agencies and crime syndicates alone maintain large organizations capable of carrying out covert operations without fear of detection.” On the government side, the two main Golden Triangle runners were Ted Schackley and Thomas Clines – the same two men who ran Operation Mongoose (the plot to take out Fidel Castro). Thus, from 1960-1975, the CIA deployed a secret force of 30,000 Hmong tribesmen to fight the Laotian Communists. They also created heroin labs in this area; then brought it out via their own private airline – Air America. Alfred McCoy, in The Politics of Heroin: CIA Complicity in the Global Drug Trade, describes how the CIA first gave smack to our own American soldiers in Vietnam before shipping it into the United States, where Lansky mobsters dealt it on the streets. Sam Giancana’s biographers reinforced this point by stating that while organized crime did its thing, “The CIA looked the other way – allowing over $100 million a year in illicit drugs to flow through Havana into the U.S. It was an arrangement similar to all the rest they’d made. The CIA received 10% of the take on the side of narcotics, which they utilized for their undercover slush fund.” After the Mob and the CIA generated this dirty money, they laundered it into secret bank accounts controlled by the international bankers. That way, the government couldn’t get their hands on it and the funds could be invested in the stock market, loaned out to other businesses on the take, or channeled into the Secret Services’ black budgets. So, even though the above information is only the tip of the iceberg, now do you see why it was so important to the CIA/Mobster/international banker cabal that JFK didn’t pull America out of Vietnam? The money (via illegal drug trafficking and for the War Machine) was incredible, while CONTROL of another area of the globe (the Golden Triangle) was secured. As a final note, only FOUR DAYS after John Kennedy was assassinated, Lyndon Baines Johnson, his successor, put his name on NSAM 273, which secured our increased involvement in Southeast Asia. These guys weren’t wasting any time! Within a few short months, our involvement in Vietnam went from 20,000 troops to a quarter of a million! The CIA had won, and ten years later 58,229 American soldiers were dead - truly shocking and abysmal behavior – an embarrassment and blight on the American consciousness. Marijuana was a common recreational drug. Good quality stuff included "Thai sticks" and opium-laced hashish. Many American servicemen became addicted to heroin while in Vietnam. It was not unusual for battalion to have a single combat death but 18 from overdoes.  On one way China was helping North Vietnam during the Vietnam War, Chinese Premier Chou En-lai told the president of Egypt in 1965: "Some [American troops] are trying opium, and we are helping them. We are planting the best kinds of opium especially for American soldiers in Vietnam...Do you remember when the West imposed opium on us? They fought war with opium. We are going to fight them with their own weapons."  The recreation habits of American GIs had a profound influence on the cultures not only of Vietnam, but also Thailand and Laos. In many ways the association of these countries with sex, prostitution, drugs and decadence can be tied to the American influence during the Vietnam War.  Michael Herr wrote in "Dispatches", "Going out at night the medics gave you pills, Dexedrine breath like dead snakes kept too long in a jar. [...] I knew one 4th division Lurp who took his pills by the fistful, downs from the left pocket of his tiger suit and ups from the right, one to cut the trail for him and the other to send him down it. He told me that they cooled things out just right for him, that he could see that old jungle at night like he was looking at it through a starlight scope. "They sure give you the range," he said." [Source: Michael Herr, "Dispatches", Knopf, 1977] Marijuana and Heroin Use During the Vietnam War  Marijuana was grown all over Vietnam, and many soldiers had their first experiences smoking it overseas. It helped them mellow out, it helped them continue fighting. It took their mind off what the war was about and helped if they didn'tt necessarily believe in the cause for which they fought. In The Things They Carried, drug use is treated matter of factly: it is another not-too-wonderful strategy for trying not to see what is going on around the users. Some soldiers have religion, others have girlfriends waiting for them at home, others have dope. [Source: +++]  Although smoking marijuana -- the drug of choice among soldiers -- was a punishable offense under army rules, many soldiers still indulged. Precise statistics are not available, but army records suggest that marijuana use at the time was much more widespread in Vietnam itself than it was in the United States. After outraged, sympathetic and bemused newspaper reports drew international interest to the issue, the southern Vietnamese government took steps to make marijuana harder to obtain in 1968. The problem was soon overshadowed, though, by the rise of heroin as a popular drug among soldiers. +++  Some leaders chose to ignore the problem. Others encouraged marijuana use, because it kept their men mellow and focused, because it diffused social problems in the group, because it had fewer side affects than alcohol use and abuse, or because they simply could not imagine trying to prohibit it. It is unclear whether a crackdown, ordered from above, on marijuana use helped feed a switch to heroin. What is clear from army documents is that heroin was a larger problem. Heroin is debilitating. And when soldiers returned to America they were sick for months because they no longer had access to the drug. This was often in addition to post-traumatic stress disorder, an illness portrayed in many of O'Brien's stories. +++  In O'Brien's fiction, all drugs are grouped together under the term "dope." As when writing about many of the other aspects of the book -- casual sex, killing, to name a few -- O'Brien the narrator remains non-judgmental. They are things that happen. Some people are drug addicts, others carry their girlfriends' stockings. In the moral balance and the wider craze of the war, these small transgressions hardly seem to matter. +++  Drug use in the book is even used to fuel some of the troops' humor. Ted Lavender is the group's habitual drug user. When he is high, the other men like to ask him how the war is going. Lavender responds: "...real smooth. Today we've got ourselves a real mellow war." This is always good for a laugh. When Lavender is killed, the others try to convince themselves that he is just high, is in a higher place, has taken so much dope that he's up there floating in the clouds somewhere. To help themselves believe this, the soldiers all partake in smoking what's left of Lavender's dope. This anecdote illustrates that drug use, though it may have been insubordination according to strict army definitions, was also simply a form of escapism for the soldiers. +++ 05/11/2017 See Fat Leonard Case on this website Have added Singapore Technology corruption scandal - around the same time as Fat Leonard Case in Singapore, to the Fat Leonard section of this website.  ST is also a ship/naval ship related company - repairs ships.  Had major bribery scandal but there does not seem to be much teeth in the Singapore judicial response.  ST does not seem to be mentioned in the Fat Leonard Case news articles in the USA; I will go back over the articles now that I am aware of ST’s similar bribery problems, but I don’t remember seeing it in the American news.  We should look into ST’s connections to any American defense issues. Peter Singer, more on Fat Leonard section: Our dependency on military contractors shows all the signs of the last downward spirals of an addiction. If we judge by what has happened in Iraq, when it comes to counterinsurgency and the use of private military contractors, the U.S. has locked its national security into a vicious cycle. It can’t win with them, but can’t go to war without them.
